I had many problems with KDE updates and Discover started working sometime after 3 unstable updates (because I was rolling back to a working instance each time) so I don't know which one fixed it. But I also deleted my .cache folder due to the updates leaving my plasmashell unable to start (seems like something to do with digital clock because it won't start now at all) so maybe the cache was the cause?
