Hello, I cannot reproduce this at all, although I use libinput and not evdev.
As for the joystick thing, I've seen a user suffering from the same issue, but
with a Huion tablet. The joystick settings responds to a stylus press as though
it were a button, but that's a different issue (and if still reproducible, it
should be reported separately).
