Picture of the hash noise on the star field display

SUMMARY
I just got a Raspberry PI running KStars 3.5.0 beta working with TightVNC on a
Windows 10 laptop. Following the Burwell tutorial "Setting the Raspberry Pi
for Remote Telescope Imaging over your home nework"

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. follow tutorial directions up to SELECT CLOCK ICON. At that point the
display generated hash noise all over the star field BUT NOT the title bar now
the control icons. See attached picture
2.
3.

OBSERVED RESULT
See the attached picture of the KStars display

EXPECTED RESULT
a normal star pattern display

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: 10
macOS:
Linux/KDE Plasma:
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version:
KDE Frameworks Version:
Qt Version:

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Working on getting the Raspberry pi as the remote device. At the moment, the
Raspberry Pi is physically connected to Ethernet. I tried my Windows PC with
both wireless and wired Ethernet. Same effect. The noise/has pattern does
change but does not go away.
