I've had the same installation of Lubuntu 18.04 on my wife's computer with kubuntu added onto that and no problems for about 9 months now, but all she does with her computer is surf and facebook, I'm the one who tries to find the best applications and tries new programs and games. I'm on my 4th reinstallation now, in just this short of a period. I've been trying Ubuntu distros for years now, stability has always been the issue for me. Windows 10 going full spyware is a seriously big shove out the door for me. But if I can't find a distro I can operate and is stable, I'm forced to go back to windows. I'd hate that and that is why I'm offering to be the test dummy.
