I believe I did the update following those directions. The version number is
now 20.08.0
I did a quick test on a small file and it seemed to work okay.

Go to https://kdenlive.org/en/download/ scroll to the bottom. On the right side
under Windows is the instruction how to install. Let me know if this
instruction is OK.
