This makes it mandatory to launch them using the terminal instead of using a GUI. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. select an executable Ruby script (e.g. Rubyripper) 2. launch it OBSERVED RESULT Kate, or the default text editor, launches. EXPECTED RESULT The Ruby script executes like other script files (e.g. Bash scripts). SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux: KDE neon 5.19.5 KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.74.0 Qt Version: 5.15 Dolphin Version: 20.08.1 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This issue started manifesting itself after the update to KDE neon 20.04.
