MLT was from mltframework.org V 6.2.0 Same re install MLT - it seemed to do itself when kdenlive sudo was enacted When I had to update to kdenlive 16.04 to be able to use vidstab I used the ppa: kdenlive/kdenlive-testing from Canonical - when I re-installed tonight did it through sudo again and it updated itself, re-installed whatever and asked me to delete some stuff.
