            Bug ID: 427219
Summary: Containing file folder in search list should be
completely shown when you hover over files lists
           Product: krunner
           Version: 5.18.5
          Platform: Kubuntu Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: major
          Priority: NOR
         Component: filesearch

Example filesearch krunner

SUMMARY
Currently if you search for a file the list comes up but the containg file
paths are many times abbreviated to the point where it is hard to tell which is
which. Would like to show the full path as I hover over list items so I would
not have to click on containing folder to view. (or some other method. Maybe
when hovering over Open Containing Folder Button if that is easier.)

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. From Plasma Desktop press ALT-SPACE to open krunner search tool (or from
command line type krunner)
2. Search for files. E.g. theme

OBSERVED RESULT
Notice how some of the paths are chopped way too small depending on the
filename width. Also there is a lot of wasted space on the left. See attached
screen example

EXPECTED RESULT
Allow either via configuration to make dropdown search list wider or when
hovering over a file to display the full path or some other method that makes
it obvious which is the correct file to use.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: Kubuntu 20.04
KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.68.0
Qt Version: 5.12.8
Kernel Version: 5.4.0-48-generic
OS Type: 64-bit
Processors: 8 × Intel® Core™ i7-4810MQ CPU @ 2.80GHz
Memory: 15.6 GiB of RAM

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Also there is so much empty space to the left of the list. Not sure why but
that could also be adjusted. Maybe provide a setting to allow adjustments to
the list UI.

See example attachment. Thanks!
