Tested with kdenlive-20.11.70-8a08988-x86_64.appimage.
About monitor double click:
I can double click over video monitor and it goes full screen.
There is a particular situations where I double click and it wont goes full
screen: that is when I select in timeline a clip or a track that haves an
effect like zoom or transform, that puts a layer over de monitor that is used
to receive mouse commands.
About timeline track thickness:
At current version it can be resized.
I suggest you to test the described behavior with kdenlive daily build appimage
and report if the behavior persists, otherwise close this bug.
