This problem affects both Arch (Plasma 5.19.5) and neon unstable.

SUMMARY
I can type accented characters like ô, ã and é in GTK3 apps running natively on
Wayland, but I can't in Qt5 apps like Kate and Featherpad text editors.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. start Wayland session
2. open Kate
3. try to type an accented character like ô, ã, é

OBSERVED RESULT
the typed character appears on the screen without accent

EXPECTED RESULT
we can type accented characters in Qt5 apps running natively on Wayland

Operating System: KDE neon Unstable Edition
KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.80
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.75.0
