SUMMARY
When entering calculations with the keyboard, dead keys are not recognized.
This is particularly problematic with the power operator (^).
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Switch the OS to a keyboard layout that uses dead keys for accents (US
international, French, German, or other European layout)
2. Enter 10
3. Enter ^ (or ^ plus space, or some other combination)
4. Enter 2
5. Press the return key
