Jonah - if you need help, please go to krita-artists.org and make a new thread.
This website you went to is solely for development purposes and keeping track
of issues in the code of Krita, not keeping track of people having issues (I
hope you see there is a difference). Boudewijn already wrote "Please do not
reopen this report".

If you go to krita-artists.org even the interface will be more user-friendly :)

But in any case, audio in Krita is a part that is considered experimental and
is generally buggy. It's needed to be fixed in the code but it's a deep issue.
Hopefully now that we have two developers focusing on animation, it will be
fixed. Common thing that helps is using .wav files, but in general, I'd just
suggest using a video editor like Kdenlive for dealing with audio.
