Bug ID: 364260 Summary: KDE power management does not notice suspend Product: Powerdevil Version: 5.6.4 Platform: Gentoo Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: plasma-de...@kde.org Reporter: porternw....@gmail.com KDE power management fails to notice changes in state after woken up from suspend to ram. In other words, if the system is suspended while charging, it won't notice it has been unplugged if the unplugging occurs during suspend, and vice versa. Thus, the icon remains "charging" and screen brightness, etc. doesn't change to "battery" profile even though system is now on battery. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Suspend computer while plugged in 2. Unplug computer while suspended 3. Resume while still unplugged Actual Results: KDE power management still thinks compute is plugged in. System tray icon, settings are still in "AC mode" and vice versa. Expected Results: Power management should notice change in AC status and apply appropriate power management changes. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
