Bug ID: 426045 Summary: global scaling or dual-head display causes paint problems Product: kde Version: unspecified Platform: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: major Priority: NOR Component: dualhead Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org Reporter: wim.delv...@adaptiveplanet.com Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 131334 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=131334&action=edit virtual box display problem SUMMARY I have a dual display setup with monitors of different resolution. I have global scaling enabled and set to 175 % when I start some applications like vlc, virtualbox, dragonplayer, kate the content of the application is not drawn properly and the content of the window (menus button etc) is unusable/unreactive. Resizing the window does not refresh the window (see ttached screenshot of virtualbox now when I disable one screen OR set the global scaling to 100 % the paint problems go away. when I mess with the backend renderer the problem does not go away. setting the scaling to 100% and using the fonts to scale is a workaround but it does not increase the size of visual elements like scrollbars which remain rather small.
