Nope. KWin manages window, not cursor pixmaps ;-)
It's the client (ie. Qt)

Your resolution is probably screwed, Qt aligns to that when picking a cursor (i
think, kai will know much better)

What's the output of "xdpyinfo | grep resolution"?
