Right, this was only recently changed, in your version it was still called only
file search. You haven't said if that helped or not, but I assume it didn't. Is
that correct?
Regarding startup: you can uninstall Akonadi, but this will also remove KMail,
KOrganizer and a few other PIM applications. If you don't use these, that would
be a good option. The other applications are essential and shouldn't be removed
unless you really know what you are doing.
