Having experimented with digiKam during the last months, whenever I had some time to spare, I now took the plunge and entrusted my pictures to digiKam. Am now well on my way to (re-)organizing them in a way I had long planned doing. Back to the issue. Unfortunately, it persists. See attachment. Moving focus from the digiKam window makes the dotted lines disappear, as does scrolling them out of the visible area.
