The code on our side has not changed in years. It has never been reported as a problem before. I suspect a change or bug in MariaDB. I cannot reproduce the problem here. However, we plan to convert the TagsTree VIEW to a table, just like in SQLite. However, this will not be done before digiKam-7.2.0. I'll post the first patch soon.
