Bug ID: 425219 Summary: suspicious URL warning system gives false negative for URL with port number Product: kmail2 Version: 5.14.3 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kdepim-b...@kde.org Reporter: k...@equaeghe.nospammail.net Target Milestone: --- KMail gave a warning when a URL in a plain text email contained a port number. It said that “This email contains a link which reads as 'https://example.com:443/blablabla' in the text, but actually points to 'https://example.com/blablabla'. This is often the case in scam emails to mislead the recipient” KMail should be a bit smarter here. I actually also think that this kind of warning message is not appropriate for plain text emails in any circumstance. (Other types of URL warnings may be.) N.B.: Missing period at end of warning. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
