            Bug ID: 425058
Summary: Blank wallpaper if "Picture of the Day" is not a
                    picture (i.e., a video)
           Product: kdeplasma-addons
           Version: 5.18.5
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Picture of the Day
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: n...@sonic.net
  Target Milestone: ---

When the Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) is a video, the KDE wallpaper (via
Configure -> Desktop Settings -> Wallpaper Type: "Picture of the Day",
Provider: "Astronomy (NASA)") comes out as a solid black background.

Example, from today, 2020-08-05 (August 5, 2020):
https://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap200805.html shows a YouTube video (source:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X_UOLpUDwpU). Because of this, my desktop
background is blank (solid black).

It would be nice to either (a) continue using a previous day's APOD picture, or
better yet, (b) use a snapshot of the YouTube video. This appears to be
possible by fetching from a well-defined URL: https://img.youtube.com/vi/<VIDEO
ID>/maxresdefault.jpg
(In the example above, it would be
https://img.youtube.com/vi/X_UOLpUDwpU/maxresdefault.jpg)
