            Bug ID: 364074
Summary: Crash when creating a file with pixels greater than
                    2000*1790
           Product: krita
           Version: 3.0
          Platform: MS Windows
                OS: MS Windows
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: ro...@hotmail.com

The program crashes when creating a file with pixels greater than 2000*1790.

I solved the problem deactivating "Enable progress reporting" in Performance
settings. But I think this feature should be disabled by default.

After disabling this option I can create files greater than 8000x8000 without
problems.

My system specs:
- Intel Core i3-4005 CPU 1.70Ghz
- 4,00 GB
- 64 bits Windows 8.1

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a big canvas with "Enable progress reporting" option activated in a
mid range(i3 with 4GB, 64 bit platform) system.
