Summary: Button labels disappear from kcalc.
           Product: kcalc
           Version: 18.04
          Platform: Debian stable
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: ete...@alum.rit.edu
          Reporter: van.sny...@sbcglobal.net
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY

Some button labels disappear from kcalc.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start kcalc, use it, then ignore it for a while
2. Put something on top of it, do some other work
3. Come back later. This time, the Memory save, clear, restore buttons are
blank. Other times, other buttons have been blank.

OBSERVED RESULT

Some button labels have disappeared

EXPECTED RESULT

Button labels remain

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows:
macOS:
Linux/KDE Plasma: Debian 10.4 Buster
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version:
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.54.0
Qt Version: 5.11.3

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Sometimes, holding down Ctrl (at least left Ctrl) makes the labels come back.
If I hold it down too long, it trips my KVM box to another computer, but that's
not your problem.

What is "About System" and how do I get at it? Not in kcalc's Help -> About KDE
on any tab. Not in the desktop menu. Not in the panel launcher. Not in system
settings. Not a file in /etc/.
