SUMMARY
One of the few features I'm really missing from KDE Plasma is the ability to
copy a remote http URL (to for example a jpeg) and being able to paste it into
the file open dialog in KDE apps. This way you can quickly find a picture on
the internet and put it in a KDE app without needing to download it to a
temporary folder and navigate to there.
This could be achieved by (quickly and dirtily) wget for example, but would
still require multiple actions, so integrating such functionality in kio itself
would make the workflow more efficient.
