When trying to answer the question I realized that this issue is likely an
issue with a third-party SDDM theme that I had installed and not with the
Breeze theme. I'll try to reproduce the problem with Breeze - but later as I
don't have access to the UHD screens atm.
So resolving for now and I'll re-open if I can reproduce this properly.
