Please check disabling Canvas Graphics Acceleration.
First you can try an easier option, just resetting the configuration (make sure
to remove both `kritarc` and `kritadisplayrc`):
https://docs.krita.org/en/KritaFAQ.html#resetting-krita-configuration
if it doesn't work, please (close Krita and) open `kritadisplayrc` and change
the line from "OpenGLRenderer=auto" to "OpenGLRenderer=none". Save and open
Krita.
