Bug ID: 424472 Summary: After deleting a cited paper from the main.tex file it still remains in the references list Product: kile Version: 2.9.93 Platform: Microsoft Windows OS: Microsoft Windows Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: user interface Assignee: michel.lud...@kdemail.net Reporter: souravmondal...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Say I have cited a paper \cite{abc} in my main.tex file and I have compiled it. Now, for some reason I had to delete this and I recompiled. However, sometimes I see that the cited paper is still present in the reference list, but the index of that paper is missing from the body. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Cite any file in a document and compile the main.tex file. 2. After compilation is done, remove the citation. 3. Recompile the main.tex file again. OBSERVED RESULT The index of the paper, say [10] is missing in the paper but name of paper is still listed in the reference list. EXPECTED RESULT The index [10] should be replaced by the next cited paper in the recompiled document.
