Bug ID: 424337 Summary: In Reconciliation Wizard, pressing "Enter" on the "Statement date" line behaves the same as clicking "Next" Product: kmymoney Version: 5.0.8 Platform: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kmymoney-de...@kde.org Reporter: jsw...@pamho.net Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY In the Reconciliation Wizard, suppose that on the "Statement Date" line you adjust the date and press "Enter." The effect will be the same as clicking "Next." STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Enter the Reconciliation Wizard. 2. Place your cursor in the "Statement date" field. 3. Press "Enter." OBSERVED RESULT You will now be moved to the next display (the one with "Payee," "Interest," etc.). EXPECTED RESULT I would expect to stay in the same display and have the opportunity to adjust the figure in the "Ending balance" field. I would expect to enter the next display only after clicking "Next." SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: Ubuntu 20.04, Gnome 3.36.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION In my settings, under "Ledger / Data Entry," I have ticked "Use Enter to move between fields." Granted, the reconciliation wizard is not the ledger, but still I instinctively expect that "Enter" in the wizard will behave the same way. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
