I think the program is behaving exactly as it is supposed to. In the ledger,
the account transferred to/from is shown by itself, in the place where the
category would be shown if the transaction were not a transfer. The memo field
should not show the other account, just the memo (if there is one.)
Where, exactly are you seeing this behavior? Specifically, what options are
you using for the Ledger View? If you are not showing the full details, then
an empty memo is not shown, but the other account should always be shown. Can
you provide a screen-shot of what you see?
