            Bug ID: 423942
Summary: Unable to set a bond's MAC address
           Product: plasma-nm
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: editor
          Assignee: jgrul...@redhat.com
          Reporter: thi...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
When one of the lower connections of a bond is WiFi, you have to set the bond's
MAC address to match the WiFi's, otherwise your AP will generally not accept
your wireless frames. This should be possible with Plasma-NM.

Note that nmcli edit does not offer to set "ethernet.cloned-mac-address"
either, but you can set it and it works.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open the connection editor
2. Add a new Bond-type connection (or edit the one you have)

OBSERVED RESULT
No way to set or change the MAC address of the bond.

EXPECTED RESULT
Like for Wired or Wireless connections, there should be a way to specify the
cloned MAC address.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Linux 5.7.5, openSUSE Tumbleweed 20200701
KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.2
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.71.0
Qt Version: 5.15.0

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
See Bug 423940 for a working configuration of this set up.
