SUMMARY
The invocation of the external diff tool "kdiff3" fails because the parameter
were not substituted.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open settings for diff (german "Vergleich und Zusammenführen")
2. Insert "kdiff3 %s1 %s2" into first text field ("Externe Diff-Anzeige")
3. Confirm
4. Do a diff by using history ("Verlauf")
OBSERVED RESULT
kdiff3 starts with message window
"Öffnen dieser Dateien ist fehlgeschlagen:
- /home/soenke/%s1
- /home/soenke/%s2
"
EXPECTED RESULT
A compare view of two files whose names are correctly created by a working
substitution.
