            Bug ID: 363894
Summary: No way to supply HTTP authentication credentials
           Product: kdeplasma-addons
           Version: 5.6.4
          Platform: Gentoo Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: major
          Priority: NOR
         Component: webbrowser
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: mike...@gmail.com

When visiting a web page that employs HTTP Basic Auth, I get an HTTP 403 error,
and am never prompted for credentials. This is frustrating, to say the least,
when I'm trying to use the widget for tools such as RackTables.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Visit a page requiring HTTP Basic Auth
2.
3.

Actual Results:
HTTP 403

Expected Results:
Prompt for credentials.

While a prompt for credentials is obviously an important minimum, it'd be darn
handy if I could use, e.g. Kerberos authentication. But there's no indication
this is supported, either.
