SUMMARY
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Dolphin
2. Type nfs:// in location bar, or nfs://server_name:2049
3. Dolphin displays error: “Invalid protocol ”
OBSERVED RESULT
NFS shares cannot be accessed with the nfs pseudo protocol. Mounting NFS shares
with mount command is working.
EXPECTED RESULT
Direct access to NFS shares from Dolphin.
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: KDE NEON useredition
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.0
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.70.0
Qt Version: 5.14.2
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This problem occurs since the KDE application to 20.04.
It seems that the requested library nfs.so is no longer in the KDE NEON package
kio-extra.
