Bug ID: 422532 Summary: Please add option to the digital clock applet to force single-line text Product: plasmashell Version: 5.18.5 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: Digital Clock Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: war...@gmx.de Target Milestone: 1.0 SUMMARY Dead devs, I would like to display both date and time in my panel. I have loads of free horizontal space for it. But for the digital clock to only use one line of text, I need to make the panel so thin that its other content becomes too small for my taste (icons, items in the notification area), especially now that I have a touch-enabled device. Having the panel set to my preferred height of 32 px, the clock switches to two lines of text, which makes the text too small again. Using a bigger font makes the clock quicker to read when sitting right in front of the screen, but also easier to read from farther away. Thank you for your consideration.
