I have 646 accounts, 20K transactions, and 44K splits, and loading (Linux, with a Ryzen 5 2600) takes 11 seconds, so 15 seconds for your file doesn't seem totally out of line. However, I am certainly curious why the big difference between 4.8.x and 5.0.x.
