In fact, now that I play with it a little, it seems every other starting letter will decide the placement. A - will show the dropdown in the wrong place, B - will show the dropdown in the right place, C - will show the dropdown in the wrong place, D - will show the dropdown in the right place, etc, you get the picture. It would see the first character I enter in the payee field determines where the dropdown is placed. The dropdown is the same size in both places assuming there are enough entries for a scrollable list.
