The old behavior just created a mirror of the current tab and duplicated it's views, but you could not create complex layouts for a task (for instance, I usually have a layout that resembles this. -------- | | | | | | where each pane is a terminal, and it's doing a | |--| separated thing. Konsole was the only terminal | | | doing the 'mirror' thing in all of the terminal --------- applications. You can move terminals via Ctrl + Arrow Key, and you can rearrange the positions visually by dragging the Header Bar, you can even move them to a new tab by dragging it. If you want to have a 'mirror' feature like in the previous version of konsole, this can be implemented.
