Yes, the problem happens in the AppImage I just downloaded (kdenlive-20.07.70-5e52a8d-x86_64.appimage). The audio artifact is still visibly present when the output is opened in Audacity. I can't test if the latest version freezes when zoomed in closely, because the AppImage crashed when trying to load an older video-project. I can diagnose that later with the latest source.
