Gosh, they actually are so afraid they do that? That feels so weird. In any
case I thought I had already made Angle the default on Windows. From main.cc:

#ifdef Q_OS_WIN
        const QString preferredRendererString = kritarc.value("OpenGLRenderer",
"angle").toString();
#else
        const QString preferredRendererString = kritarc.value("OpenGLRenderer",
"auto").toString();
#endif


I have to admit, I haven't checked recently whether that isn't overridden later
on.
