I confirm similar behaviour.
In my case, starting from a clean repo, with cloning
https://invent.kde.org/sdk/kdesrc-build, it downloads kde-build-metadata and
sysadmin-repo-metadata, creates the log and starts throwing those messages
about "Unknown KDE Project", followed by an apparently random project.
