            Bug ID: 421607
Summary: Neon Testing Login screen does not react to 'return'
                    key
           Product: plasmashell
           Version: 5.18.90
          Platform: Neon Packages
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: k...@davidedmundson.co.uk
          Reporter: tagwer...@innerjoin.org
                CC: plasma-b...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: 1.0

SUMMARY:

New Neon Testing Login screen does not react to 'return' key, not possible
to log on.

    'plasmashell not found'

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:

This "just happened" with my most recent update (previously KDE 5.18.4,
Frameworks 5.70.0, QT 5.14.2)
Now get a new, shiny, Logon Screen, I can select the user, type the
password but does not react to a 'return'.

Happens in a KVM guest, X11 graphics

There is a 'Session' dropdown where I would expect a choice between X11 and
Wayland but this is empty

OBSERVED RESULTS:

    Stuck at the logon screen

EXPECTED RESULTS:

    The 'return' log you on

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS:

    Neon Testing

Not able to logon to get the System Information version details via GUI.

On boot the splash says "KDE Neon 5.18.90',

        Kf5-config --version

    says:

        Qt: 5.14.2
        Frameworks: 5.70.0

    but

        plasmashell --version

    says:

        Command 'plasmashell' not found

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Not necessarily related - there was a similar behaviour with logon
previously, I remember a mention that it was related to a version of QT. At
this time however there was a 'submit' button on the screen that allowed you to
login without the 'return'
