            Bug ID: 421052
Summary: Cannot copy folder to NTFS partition
           Product: dolphin
           Version: 20.04.0
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: dolphin-bugs-n...@kde.org
          Reporter: ber...@codewiz.org
                CC: kfm-de...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY

Copying individual files mounted ntfs partition with uid=1000 (me) succeeds,
but copying a directory containing files does not work.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Mount any ntfs volume, giving yourself permission to write (I use the
uid=1000 mount option since my desktop user is uid 1000)
2. Open the filesystem in Dolphin, and drag some folder to it

OBSERVED RESULT
The copy immediately halts with "Could not write to <file within the
directory>".
Retrying does not help.

The destination does not contain the directory, so I suspect Dolphin fails to
create it.
However, Create -> New Folder works just fine.

EXPECTED RESULT

The copy should succeed as usual.
