Bug ID: 420607 Summary: The digital clock shows a huge date Product: plasmashell Version: 5.18.4 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Digital Clock Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: mattia.basag...@gmail.com Target Milestone: 1.0 Created attachment 127880 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=127880&action=edit what the digital clock shows SUMMARY I have a vertical panel, with a digital clock widget. I set the custom date format to "ddd d MMM" and it was fine at first. But after a restart the date is drawn with a giant font (see attached screenshot). Looks like going to the digital clock settings, setting an empty format, apply, and putting the format back what to it was makes it a little bit smaller but still too big. I'd want the date to be on a single line and be scaled down to fit, not scaled up so every word fills the panel width, otherwise the clock uses up most of the space of the panel itself.
