SUMMARY
GUI Hangs when adding a network folder full with photos.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install digikam
2. Add a network folder (smb mounted to /Volumes/photos from a network attached
storage) with over 20000 photos.
OBSERVED RESULT
GUI hangs until it scans all the folders and photos. Cannot interact with it.
EXPECTED RESULT
GUI is responsive - I can interact with it.
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
macOS: 10.14.5 (18F132)
digiKam-6.4.0-MacOS-x86-64.pkg
Qt Version: qt: stable 5.14.1 (bottled), HEAD [keg-only] (homebrew)
