Press Super key 2. Type "fire" to filter the list of applications 3. Make sure Firefox is selected in the filtered list and press the Return key to start Firefox 4. Observe Plasma desktop freezing; apparently only the mouse pointer is not frozen 5. After a few seconds of frozen desktop, the desktop goes black for another few seconds, then restarts and displays an app crash notification OBSERVED RESULT Plasma frozen, crashes and restarts EXPECTED RESULT Plasma doesn't crash when launching an application SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: (N/A) macOS: (N/A) Linux/KDE Plasma: Kubuntu 19.10 DE Plasma Version: 5.16.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.62.0 Qt Version: 5.12.4 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Fresh installation of Kubuntu 19.10 with Firefox being the only application yet in use -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
