Bug ID: 420165 Summary: Speed effect adds additional frame at the end of rendered file Product: kdenlive Version: Appimage - Refactoring Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Effects & Transitions Assignee: vpi...@kde.org Reporter: ha...@live.de Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 127594 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=127594&action=edit The rendered file compared to the project length SUMMARY Speed effect adds one or two additional frames at the end of rendered file. The number of added frames could be related to the clip length. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Add a longer clip to the timeline and apply the speed effect 2. (optional) cut it to a shorter clip to reduce render time 3. Add the rendered file to the timeline and compare the length OBSERVED RESULT The rendered file is one or two frames longer than the project EXPECTED RESULT Same length as in the project SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Kubuntu: 19.10 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: default Kubuntu 19.10 KDE Frameworks Version: KDE Frameworks 5.68.0 Qt Version: Qt 5.14.1 (built against 5.14.1) MLT version 6.21.0 Kdenlive Version 20.03.90 (kdenlive-20.04-rc2-x86_64.appimage) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I have tested this with 2 different videos as source. For the longer video, I got 2 extra frames at the end and for the short video just one extra frame. Cutting the source video in smaller clips did not seem to have a effect to this bug. The source videos and the project settings were 4k UHD 60FPS and 62.5 FPS. Rendered quality was Lossless/HQ H.264. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
