Bug ID: 419875 Summary: More clearness for the folders in the places panel Product: dolphin Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: panels: places Assignee: dolphin-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: pos...@posteo.eu CC: kfm-de...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- Places are a nice tool to pin folders for quick access. However, having too many clutters the panel again. For example I have 3 folders for university stuff, 2 for photography, 2 for programming, the the standard home folders, etc. To counter this, I think it'd be convenient to enhance it. Here are some ideas: 1) Category-Folders for folders Similar to bookmarks like in the FireFox browser, folders in places could be added to a "top-folder" 2) Folders, which belong a to certain category could gain a visual indicator, like a special colored background, a colored bar on a side 3) Titles could be added above the folders 4) Separator lines could divide categories I hope you understand my problem and maybe you even have better ideas how to improve Dolphin in this section. :) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
