SUMMARY
I've been looking into switching to Kate, and one feature I really miss is the
ability to open multiple terminals. As detailed below I found a bug about this,
but it is from 2007 and does not seem to apply any more.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Enable Terminal Tool View plugin
2. Notice that there is no way to open multiple instances of it or have tabs in
it
OBSERVED RESULT
Kate only lets you open one terminal
EXPECTED RESULT
Kate lets you open multiple terminals, either via multiple instances of the
Document Tree View plugin or via tabs in the plugin.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I found this bug, but it was closed as RESOLVED FIXED yet the proposed solution
does not work. Might have to do with that it is from 2007.
