If Okular is configured to open new documents in tabs, the tab bar quickly
becomes cluttered and titles are not shown fully. It is hard to switch between
the tabs and when working with a large collection of literature, I miss the
kind of productivity, I'm used to when working with multiple files at once in
IDEs.
Some easy to implement suggestions for the UI: If one hovers at the tab, Okular
does not even show hover text with the full tab name (similarly to Firefox). A
good solution is also Kate's opened documents list which gives an overview of
opened documents.
