The reaosn why people think this is a bug is that this behaviour in "Open
containing folder" was introduced at the same time as it's introduction.

It was due to this comment that I used an already running instance:
"https://phabricator.kde.org/D16648#452719";.

I guess it should be quite easy to add this feature for both versions.
