Bug ID: 419382 Summary: Cursor jumping after selecting a colour from a second image (Second image in jpeg format). Product: krita Version: 4.2.9 Platform: MS Windows OS: MS Windows Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Color Selectors Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: johnridgwaydes...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY I am colouring comic book pages. When starting to colour a new page, it is useful to also have open an earlier page so that I can select a shade from the earlier page to use the same shade on the new page. Then selecting the colour I have been using the "Ctrl" key. However, on returning to the new page, I find that the cursor is jumping (approx. 10 pixel steps). This occurs only when I am using the brush tool. This does not occur if I use the Colour Selector Tool and does not appear to occur when using the "Ctrl" key with any other tool selected. Also, it only seems to occur when I am selecting colour from an earlier page in jpeg format. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Start Krita and create a new document. 2. Open a second document in jpeg format. 3. Select Brush too (any brush). 4. Select a colour from the jpeg image. 5. Draw on the new image. OBSERVED RESULT Cursor moves in jumps and line drawn very slowly. (Note brush option set to "Normal"). EXPECTED RESULT SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION The "jumping" did not occur in the beta version. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
